Lifelong raver and Joburg based Trance, Techno and Psytrance DJ Jacques Meiring A.K.A Far-Side came to DJ'ing late in his life but once he threw his hat into the ring, he quickly started making a name for himself and has never looked back. Over the years he has co-hosted, hosted, and produced several dance music shows on local and international stations which has given him the opportunity to work with many local legends, he is also a regularly featured guest on other stations. Super excited to share the debut of my new Techno alias "Far-Side presents Stimulate", I've always loved Techno and it was always intended to be part of my arsenal as DJ and in my earlier days it was but fate had other plans as I focused on Psy and Trance Techno became my guilty pleasure, I've been wanting to make my return to Techo for a long time now and knew that I had to do something a bit different to what people would expect from me so about six months ago I took a deep dive back into the genre and it sub-genres, exploring producers/labels, building a new collection of music and with that exploration came discovery, discovery of a new side of me as a dj and in some ways as person I suppose by exploring deeper more harmonic and sometimes more emotiomal forms of musical self expression. I invited you all to join me on this new musical journey the first episode in the new series is COMING SOON!
