Book Publishers Pelmo Books is a publishing company based in Pretoria. For this reason, manuscripts that are given priority are those submitted by young authors.

It is made up of youth management structure that are experienced in publishing and production of books written in both indigenous and other languages. We also do publish experienced authors' manuscripts with the aim of preserving and continuing to develop that which we can learn more from in terms of writing and publishing. We have also given ourselves the responsibility to workshop authors if we

find they have the ability to write but lack the expertise. We have experienced authors at our disposal and from them you can have your writing talent polished so you could be an established author in the end. We help authors write all types of genres such as the following novels, dramas, poetry, essay writing, short stories, one-act-plays, biographies, children's stories, recipe books, text books, and general non-fiction.

On Human Rights Day in South Africa, we commemorate the fundamental freedoms and dignity of every individual, historically linked with 21 March 1960 and the events of Sharpeville.

On that day, 69 people died and 180 were wounded when police fired on a peaceful crowd that had gathered in protest against the Pass laws.

Congratulations to Dr. Lawrence Molefe, our esteemed language specialist, on receiving an award at PanSALB's Multilingualism Awards on February 29th for his exceptional work in isiZulu literature! 👏

Pelmo Publishers nominated Dr. Molefe to , recognising his outstanding contributions to the development of African languages in the country. As a prolific author with 52 publications spanning novels, drama, poetry, and short stories, many of which have won SA literary competitions and been prescribed in schools, his impact on isiZulu literature is undeniable.

At the event held at ICC in Durban, Dr. Molefe had the opportunity to connect with other language winners, including JJ Ncongwane, a well-known siSwati author, who expressed how Dr. Molefe's books had profoundly motivated him.
