Marcelo Allende's signing on fee was agreed in just less than 15 minutes of negotiations. Montevideo City management demanded R51 million and our Sporting Director didn't even try to negotiate the price he paid the full amounts without any complaints because he valued Allende.

Haashim Domingo 🇿🇦 was told to leave the club when he tried to negotiate a better contract that will make him feel secured at Sundowns. They fired him without even hearing from Rulani Mokwena whether he needs him or not.

Grant Kekana is not crazy, he will never ask for a salary he doesn't deserve. They will surely use the fact that he is represented by Steve Kapeluschnik the same guy who represents Rulani Mokwena.Sundowns has money, this SD must not come from Denmark to starve the South Africans and deny them good salaries from Motsepes money.

Senong: Sundowns will regret parting ways with Rulani, he is an asset to South African football, North African teams will rush to sign him

Former Bafana Bafana assistant coach Thabo Senong says Rulani Mokwena’s Mamelodi Sundowns departure is a massive blow for young, up-and-coming coaches in the country.

"We all know that Coach Rulani is an asset to South African football, he represents excellence in many ways, and the fact that a coach who has never played professional football can actually be excellent – like the likes of Jose Mourinho," said Senong.

"But also, he represents that young coaches, if given a chance, can excel in the global space, and he has shown that by how he has transformed Mamelodi Sundowns as a team.

"If you look at their style of play, and if you look at their points acquired – we've never had a situation where you see league champions leading the log with around 23 points, so it was total dominance."

Rhulani Mokoena🗣️You know there's nothing Mamelodi Sundowns hated than losing against Orlando Pirates.I became the head coach of Sundowns after Manqoba Mngqithi lost 3:0 against Orlando Pirates in MTN8 Semifinals and when I signed my contract they said "Promise us you won't lose against Orlando Pirates".I said you know football is unpredictable, you win, you draw or you lose but I will try all my best.When we lost against Orlando Pirates in MTN8 final, I was given a warning message that read as follows "We will forgive you cause you lost on penalties".I said thanks, that won't happen again but as you all know that football is unpredictable it happened and we lost Nedbank Cup.I don't know why but when you lose against Orlando Pirates, everyone including the management become crazy, maybe it's because Orlando Pirates is the first team to win CAF Champions League so every team that beat Pirates gets motivation, I don't know I'm just thinking.

It is reported that Rhulani already knew that if he loses Nedbank Cup Final he would be shown an exit door. My source tells me that some of the players also knew what would happen if they lose the Nedbank Cup.

The famous love letter that was sent to Mudau during the game was actually a cry for help of Rhulani to his trusted soldiers. To quote few words from the letter: ".. Don't give up on me.." This words was actually an emotional words that Mudau should not give up on him because he cannot afford to lose Nedbank Cup and lose his job.
It did not just begin in Nedbank Cup, this actually was caused by CAF Champions League loss. The club felt like the coach fails to utilize the quality he got in the squad. The club had high hope of the 2nd Champions League but the Goalkeeper of Esperance de Tunis was too much. He denied all Mamelodi Sundowns FC chances.
