Let’s Say You Go Platinum Through Streams. That’s 36,000,000 streams in SA. We’ll use Spotify in this example because they have 31% market share which is more than double that of their closest competitor (Apple Music 15%)

So we’ll work with R0.095 per stream. That would generate R3,420,000 in revenue - Verses if you were to sell 30,000 copies
at R100 per CD that would be R3,000,000

Keep in mind both sides still have their own expenses attached to them. So you could end up making the same, less or more with one verses the other depending on your expenses.
