The reason why you hear a lot of Piano DJs at clubs is because Promoters book them. Most promoters don't really know how to draft a good roster. You know very well a certain DJs strong point is straata and you make them do an opening set. Thats where you can have a nice young hip hop dj that plays all the new stuff there or Some chilled Vocal House . All music is essential for a good party night but needs to be curated properly. Theres Opening - Build Up - Main Sets - Closing. Cant play the same energy all night.
