I hope this page has been useful to you guys so far , so today I will give give brief about my experience and achievements at Varsity from when I was a first year till now to- date.

My name is Neliswa Nkosi , I come from a small town called Nongoma.I am doing my second year in Media Studies at the University of Zululand.Coming to Varsity was exciting but also challenging for me as I was forced to grow up and become a responsible young woman and that for me alone was fun.It wasn't easy at first as i was introduced to new people and new environment but now it's like I have known them for years.Doing Media Studies for me was my choice and i'm glad that I choose to do it because so far I have learned a lot in Media Studies , Media teaches us lots of things one of the things , working as a team to get the work done, presenting in front of many people boosted my self-confidence.So far it has been a great experience and I'm looking forward to be in the outside world with other media specialist.

Almost in every field of study today, experiential learning is highly essential and it is very inevitable if one doesn't associate them selves with it because it can tread you down in a long run when you are looking for a job. There's quite a number of institutions that I wish and actually see myself in on the next 6 months for my incerve and even beyond that, to me they're special in every way because of the Records they uphold and all the rewards and successful workers they work with. These are one of the worlds most greatest organizations in Media.

I chose to study diploma in media studies because i love speaking, socialising with people and i know that this course would expose me to many different activities that will help a lot in identifying what to do and what not to do in the media world when working with people . This year I'm doing my second year and intend to do well so that next year I get to do my experiential learning that takes about six months time.

Acceptance criteria to the programme :

In Media Studies you will be admitted when score up 24 points its minimum requirements(Diploma in Media Studies,ACMDP1).Its duration can take up to 3 years that includes 6 Months experiential Learning.

The National Senior Certificate with Diploma endorsement, Level 4 or D symbol(HG) for English at least level 4 in any four recognized NSC subjects or National Vocational Certificate.
