Happy FriYAY ☕️ (🍸?)

I will be surviving solely on coffee and self-spoken pep talks, all weekend.

I’m not a fan of “hustle” culture, and I don’t consider after-hours as hustling. I do however consider after-hours as trying to keep my small business afloat and keeping my customers the bunch of happy-chappies they usually are.

I also consider myself incredibly blessed that I have after-hour work to do in the first place. I’m very grateful for the 3 am’s and that good, good coffee.

Happy Friday 😌

In actuality this week / month / year has just flown by in the blink of an eye, and I’ve had an unintended social media hiatus from my own pages. I have lots of projects on the go, but felt inspired by the giant bougainvillea bush/ shrub currently in full bloom outside my office. The morning sun was shining through its fluorescent pink petals, and it was the kind of morning you could feel that the Lowveld autumn was settling in for the season. A new season, new challenges and new goals to reach. So here’s what came from that. Now back to client work I go!

Currently on the go:
• Packaging designs for my long term clients
• Two website Re-builds
• Social media content for my own clients and sub-contract clients (a total of 280 posts for June 😳)
• Build a retainer agreement for a new client in one of my favourite places in the world; Chobe, Botswana
• Build my own website; this has definitely taken a back seat for over a year now
• Hone down on a wedding stationery quote for another long standing client and her betrothed
• Admin coming out of my ears
• Make another cup of coffee
