The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) has confirmed that two security officers who were filmed beating a man who allegedly stole peanut butter have been asked not to report to work.
According to PSIRA, the incident happened on 9 September 2022 in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal and the alleged shoplifter has been identified as Sandile Ngcobo.
[Breaking News]: Two suspected criminals (39) and (33) arrested in connection with the murder of University of Pretoria student Thapelo Menwe (23) from Zeerust, North West, he was doing Bachelor of Commerce in Auditing (Hon). It is alleged Menwe was shot Friday morning at about 1:44am at Hatfield resident over his cellphone mugging.

Meet latest African internet sensation from Kenya 🇰🇪 - Arap Marindich
The character of "Arap Marindich" which has now become the viral meme on social media is gotten from Kenyan comedian known as Kennedy Kipkorir Lang’at.
Born in Kalenjin, the comedian became famous locally and internationally after his "Safari Rally" mock video tickled the world and turned him into a viral meme.
In the one minute video, Marindich with a dusty face was heard explaining in his Kalenjin dialect, his challenges in navigating the confusing terrain while other drivers were driving past him.
The father of one who was in between driving jobs, said he never expected the skit to go viral when he and his friend shot the video.
Marindich is 33 years old and is fondly called the 'Helmet Man'.
