Noindex vs Disallow: What’s the Difference?

➡ Noindex: Tells search engines not to show a page in search results but still allows them to visit the page. Use this for pages you want visible to users but hidden from search engines.
➡ Disallow: Blocks search engines from visiting the page entirely. Use this for private or irrelevant pages (like admin files) that shouldn’t be crawled or indexed.

💡 Tip: Noindex hides content, while Disallow locks the door. Use both strategically for better SEO control! 🚀

If you want to stand out in SERPs, optimise for rich results. ⌨️
Rich results (also known as rich snippets) provide additional information such as reviews, stock availability, pricing, and even delivery and return information.

How rich snippets help SEO 🔥
Rich snippets do not directly affect your ranking, but they are visually appealing, which could lead to more clicks. A recipe page may for example show the cooking time for a recipe, which could result in more clicks to that page compared to a result that does not include the cooking time.

How to get rich snippets 🧐
1. Choose the type of rich snippet (there are many types, such as product, recipe, FAQ, review, events, and so on)
2. Create and add structured data to your pages. This can be done with Google’s Structured Data Markup Helper
3. Validate your structured data with Google’s Rich Results Testing tool
