Rare diseases hit home hard for most of us.
Sadly, most diseases are never diagnosed or identified because of a lack of information regarding these rare cases. But this is only one part of the struggle.
People living with these rare diseases not only struggle with the disease but also with the people they come in contact with. But unfortunately, we do not always understand what they go through daily.
As individuals with people in our lives fighting these battles daily, the best we can do is educate ourselves, not only through books but also by sitting down with them and listening. Sometimes a little shoulder to cry on is all they need to get up and fight on.
This one is for you, Mom! Keep fighting, keep standing firm. You are inspirational!

Created these awesome little labels for a Grade 1 teacher’s storeroom.
The busses match her class theme, and the font screamed chilled, funky and flower-power! Just like the little van.
