The reason people quarrel so easily, is that they regard themselves and their own opinions as far too important. Someone who has really died unto himself doesnt have to fend for his own interests any longer. Sich a person doesn't live any more, but Jesus lives in him. Rather be humble than quarrelsome, as this is the example Jesus set for us. We are servants, we actually don't have anything to quarrel about...

John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, " I am the resurrection and the life He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

Read the words Jesus spoke to Maria attentively, He does not deny that death is a reality to us, after all, they are standing next to the grace of luzarus. But life doesn't end at the grave for those who believe. We can be certain that whoever believes, will never really die. The grave is merely a passage to a far better life. A passage to Jesus.🙏🏼

God can bring about restoration. Therefore the worst thing you can do with your pain is to run away from God. Even if you don't understand what is happening at all, and it feels as though things will never improve, you should never turn your back on God. Your healing lies in Him! Go to Him and allow Him to touch you and heal you once again. He will do it!

Worry is a waste of time, says Jesus. Merely fretting over something makes absolutely no difference to the problem. Rather take action and do something about the matter! And if there is nothing you can do about it, simply give it to God and trust in Him. He has indeed promised to take care of you - and He can!

Galatians 5:19-20

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery: idolatry and witchcraft: hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage...

Do you still wonder about the seriousness of an outburst now and then? Read the above verse very carefully, you have to notice that the Lord mentions rage in the same breath as things like immorality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry and others. It is very very clear that it should not have any place in your life. It is certainly irreconcilable with a life that is under the control of the Holy Spirit! Don't make peace with it!

"Forgive me Lord, every time my temper takes over me and you no longer have control of my life. Protect me from my temper."

"For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: do not think of yourself highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you."

A Christian's self image is a matter of balance. On the one hand you should definitely not think more of yourself than you ought to - then you become useless to God, because then you have more faith in your own qualities than in Him. But you shouldn't think nothing of yourself either. Then you cannot fulfill the role in God's kingdom that He has made you for.

Lord, help me to see myself the way You see me so that I may be of use to You! Amen 🙏
