Durban Floods

Over the past couple of days, we have been witnessing the devatating effects of the flooding in KZN. It comes as a shock to many because we are not used to these kind of disasters especially within our shores and to our own.

I think it's about time we take stock of everything disastrous that's happening globally and heed the call to save our planet. Global Warming and Climate change are very real and have detrimental effects as we have seen over the years. We need to start rallying behind every movement/iniative that support Conservation of our planet and everything in it.

Our government has instituted a disaster relief grant to the KZN governance...I am honestly not so happy and convinced that the funds will serve the purpose they are meant to serve. I'm talking from past experiences. I think they should have rather allocated the funds to NGO's like Gift of the Givers, etc organisations that have a good track record and who genuinely care. We can only hope

Let us continue to help and support the people of KZN, pray for lost lives, the displaced, the missing, and everybody who has been deeply affected by these floods.

Book drive...

Hi all..

I want to ask and plead with you to join us in a simple effort of a book drive. The intention is to try and inculcate a culture of reading especially from a young age. I ask that if you have any books to share or donate especially from ages 5-16 years, kindly do so. Or you can start the very same wherever you are. Let's share reading material with whomever we can and keep the cycle going.

A reading culture is a prosperous attribute.
