MaVee On The Beat is one of those names that will stuck with you musically whenever you hear “I gut MaVee On The Beat” just know the fire is coming. Hailing all the way from Bolobedu in a village called Ga-Morwatshehla in the Limpopo province, Victor Matome Molebelele (Lebepe) AKA MaVee On The Beat KheloAfroBeat King was born and bred in Bolobedu he started his primary school in Tumedi Primary Sc
hool at Ga-Morwatshehla village and attended high school in Masalanabo High school Khehlakoni. His uncle (Rangwane) Phetole Malebelele AKA Thula and his late cousin Malaza King of Zimela are the ones who taught him everything about music, in the 90s he performed with the band in local events such as soccer tournaments, local taverns and also at birthday parties as a keyboard player and a dancer. In 1999 he worked together with his late cousin Malaza to release his (Malaza) first album titled “Bosoko Bjonke” and a few years later he went back to studio to help Malaza with his albums as follows 1.Tshatsha Jive Vol.1 2.Jele 3.Charlotte Malaza 4.Pajero and he also produced Malaza's last album titled "Khetjo" in 2008. In 2010 he released his first album titled "Mudifho" and that’s when he started focusing on production and worked with a few artist/musicians the late T-man, O-Tay , Guess-Boy, Dr Ma-Amo, Dj Kasi , Motsetse (MWS), Lekkersweet and released a KheloRap single titled "Kgomo" by No Beef Crew . The KheloAfro Beat King turned the tables upside down when he met Khutso Mahowa in 2018 famously known as Peazfade and introduced him to Afro music and he fell in love with the new sound which they termed KheloAfro,they teamed up and released first two KheloAfro singles titled Khechomie and followed by another hit single titled Money Making Machine which earned two nominations in the LIMA Awards (Limpopo Music Awards) in 2019 and all the singles have been well received by fans. so since then they never looked back and started releasing hit after hit. In 2019 he produced another three hit singles titled KhenNyana Khe by No Beef Crew,Jaqualinah by Peazfade ft Lekkersweet and Why by Peazfade ft PeJay which was nominated and won an award at the Sepedi Music Awards (SEMAs) in 2019 all singles have also been well received by fans. In 2020 he worked with Mozambique's biggest artist Mr.Bow and became part of Mr.Bow's album titled Story Of My Life and produced a smashing song tittled Only You. The KheloAfroBeat King joined forces with Peazfade and worked on what will be a game changer and the very first KheloAfro Beat album to be released in South Africa, the album is titled Foko La Khosi and he later won Best Producer award at the GAMAwards in December 2020. Cherry on top, one of the biggest local brand in South Africa from Limpopo based in Bolobedu Khehlakoni Ga-Mahowa village NinetyFour approached him after he ended the year 2020 on a high note with the good news and made him their Brand Ambassador.
