The Namibian and German governments want to sign a bilateral agreement that ignores their dreams for justice.

COPPER 360 MINING COMPANY is illegally displacing indigenous peoples and mining on their land in Concordia, Northern Cape. No Consultation or consent was given by the community affected.
Yesterday people including elders over the age of 70 years old were arrested and abused for standing up against the illegally mining and displacement of peoples from their home.
The continued abuse of power, land and mineral theft by Mining and major Corporations must END.

The opening will take place at the **National Art Gallery Namibia - Main Gallery on July 7 **and will include a special program, with the participation of human rights attorney **Wolfgang Kaleck **and sociologist **Dr. Ellison Tjirera **as guest speakers and significant contributions by the poets **Prince Kamaazengi **and *Nesindano Namises. *

Sima Luipert is a technical advisor on genocide to the Nama Traditional Leaders Association (NTLA). She was sent by the alliance of NTLA Chairperson Gaob PSM Kooper and OvahereroTraditional Authority through Paramount Chief Professor Dr Mutjinde Katjiua, to visit Berlin on a study and engagement tour to Berlin.
She spent a week with an amazing universal group of students at the Nelson Mandela School in Berlin, reflecting on German Colonialism in Great Namaland and Ovahereroland. In between sessions included engagements with civil society organizations and likeminded political parties in Germany, to consolidate a global reparations movement. All credit goes to Each One Teach One for this opportunity to bring our children together in order to learn about German Colonialism, while forming civic networks for transitional justice.
