HUSBAND FATALLY SHOT IN HOUSE INVASION INCIDENT AT MANGHENA VILLAGE, FOUR SUSPECTS ON THE LOOSE

Limpopo. : A couple was asleep when four unknown African males forcefully opened the door to gain entrance at a house at Manghena village in Saselamani policing area on the 24 February 2025 at about 03:00.

Two of the four had pistols and demanded cash from the couple. A small amount of cash was given to them but they refused and demanded more money as they are having a spaza shop.

When no extra money was given, one of them shot the husband on his chest. He fell on the floor and passed away on the spot. The suspects fled on foot from the scene.

A case of House robbery and Murder was registered for further investigation. Emergency Medical Services personnel were summoned to the scene and he was certified dead.

The deceased was identified as Miringo Mabasa by his wife. Anyone with information leading to the arrest of these suspects, Detective Warrant Officer Hlengani Chauke can be contacted at 082 319 9857 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or MySAPS App anonymously.
