In just a few days we will get our first glimpse at the all-electric future of Jaguar and after getting to spend a week behind the wheel of their F-Type 75 P450 we can honestly say that if you own one, keep it and if you can afford one, get it!

The V8 is what you want and if the R3m F-Type R75 is a little rich for the blood then maybe this P450 for R2,1m might entice you to make the purchase.

We know their future is electric, which may suit some individuals out there, but sadly this guarantees that we will likely never hear such a raucous and intoxicating exhaust note in a production car ever again.

Yes, their electric cars will be radically fast but this car is not about being the quickest. It is classy and sophisticated and absolutely oozes character and charisma. Considering it packs 444 hp (331 kW) and 580 Nm it is not what you would call slow but the way it deals with casual cruising is immensely impressive too.

Writing this is a little bit emotional because this is almost certainly the last time we will get to pilot a 5.0-litre supercharged Jaguar. Maybe one needs to find its way into the garage in the future...
