WATCH | Kwazi Sitsheke, top-performing matriculant from Tutor Ndamase Senior Secondary School in Libode, represented the province in the national awards and was ranked third nationally in quintile two schools on Monday. Sitsheke was also awarded the Dr Ndoyisile Nuku scholarship certificate on Tuesday during the provincial leg of the matric results celebration. He says his school lacks resources, especially for practical investigations, but considers it a diamond in the rough, adding that it has the potential to be the best school in the province. Among the sacrifices the pupils made were starting classes from 7am and attending afternoon and weekend classes. Video: ZIYANDA ZWENI
