God's Special Treasure
Deuteronomy 7:6 (NLT): "For you are a holy people, who belong to the Lord your God. Of all the people on earth, the Lord your God has chosen you to be His own special treasure."

The devil will always try challenge the revelation you have of who you are in Christ. The reason being: if he can distort the image of who God says you are, he can steal your confidence to be all you were created to be. We can literally abandon our destiny by believing a false image of who we are.

The devil tried this tactic on Jesus. But it failed miserably because with every distorted image the devil threw His way, Jesus responded with the truth of God's Word. If we make spending time in God's Word our priority, we'll become so sure of who He has made us to be in Him. No distorted image of the truth will be able to move us into walking out of what we were born to do.

Today, know God says you are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. You are walking in divine health. You are rich in His wisdom, clothed in His righteousness, protected by His blood and victorious in His power! Don't let the devil steal your identity from you any longer. Stand up strong in who you truly are - His own special treasure!

I’m looking––I mean, really LOOKING––for you (God). I see you sometimes, like when I pray for a parking space, or when I need to get through something quickly. And you must show up because these things happen. But . . .where are you during the other times?

I can see the problems clearly: The bill collector calls, but the person I love won’t. There are people all around me, but I still feel lonely. I’m trying to wade through this on my own, but I just feel outnumbered, out-classed, and it looks as if the enemy has more firepower than I do.

I try to walk by faith and not by sight. But I see the enemy swarming and circling. They seem to be moving faster and closing in.

Just because I can’t see you doesn’t mean I’m alone in this. The Invisible Hand of God is lining things up for me. Every now and then, I get a glimpse of the fourth man in the fire: a slight hint of a look at your fingerprints. But they aren’t the proof. Even the word 'danger' is mostly ‘anger.’ The Bible says, "don’t sin by letting anger control you.” (Ephesians 4:6) It's in the moments of anger where we are so close to assassinating our future with a few words. These words bubble up then out of us in anger, hurt, or defense.

It’s like we are pointing a gun at our future. The safety is off and our finger is on the trigger.

Our future is determined by the decisions we make right now… the words we speak at this moment… the words we speak when a loved one, boss, friend, spouse, or child pushes our buttons (whether intentionally or not) and we are ready to push back.

God has already gone before you and worked it all out. I decree and declare over you tonight, that this will be the best week of the rest of your life.
