Ever noticed how LED lights flicker when trying to capture car footage? This is because LED bulbs are actually constantly turning on and off as current flows in and out of the electrical circuit at a certain frequency. When a camera's recording frames per second is misaligned with the electrical frequency, the flickering is visible on camera. The human eye can't detect this, which is why we don't see it when driving. This can become the bane of a car videographer's existence, when they need to capture stellar footage and there's a strobe-light effect! A method of preventing this is adjusting your camera's frames per second before you start shooting, to align with the LED's electrical frequency. There are also ways to remove it post-filming from a video.
