Hot dogs are an all-time favourite for school lunches. Ensure some extra yum for little tummies with just a few tweaks to a classic recipe.

Ingredients:
2 hot dog rolls
2 viennas
½ cup cheese, grated
2 tbsp cooking oil
½ onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
½ green pepper, chopped
1 tsp tomato paste
Curry power (optional)
3 tbsp barbeque sauce
Salt and pepper, pinch
Butter or margarine

Method:
Place viennas in a dish, add hot water, and microwave for 2 minutes. Set aside.
Heat oil in a medium pan, fry and sauté green pepper and onion until golden brown. Add curry powder and then tomato paste. Stir for a minute.
Add tomatoes and leave on medium heat until soft. Add salt and pepper to taste and stir continuously until relish is ready.
Add barbeque sauce and set aside.
Slice hot dog rolls and butter on each side.
Put viennas in the rolls, add relish, and top off with cheese.
Enjoy!

Homemade Bread Pizza
This easy bread pizza will be a hit with the kids and a stress-free treat for you! Everyone gets a winning lunchbox 😉😊

Ingredients:
2 slices of bread
2 slices of cheese
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 vienna, sliced
Jalapeño, sliced (or any other pepper of choice) *optional

Method:
Spread tomato sauce on each slice of bread.
Top with cheese then add vienna and pepper slices.
Bake using the pizza setting in air fryer or bake at 180 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes in oven.
Pack in lunchbox and enjoy!

Celebrate to the fullest with this classic chicken roast. Simply pop it in the oven while you prepare other dishes. Babize bonke to enjoy your Christmas feast!

Ingredients:
1 full chicken, butterflied
50ml lemon juice
2 tbsp chicken spice
4 tbsp butter, melted
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp mixed herbs
Salt & pepper, to taste

Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Combine butter, lemon juice, chicken spice, garlic and mixed herbs. Marinate the chicken.
Cover with foil and place on oven tray. Grill for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and let it brown for 10 minutes.
Enjoy!
