Children together with Abahlali Basemjondolo have marched to raise their concerns about climate change starting from DiniZulu Park heading to City Hall Building in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, on Friday morning.

They asked the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Gwede Mantashe, to change the system of corruption by using wisely the R131 Billion loan that has been donated by Germany to replace the South African coal energy with renewables.

IEC Chairperson, Glen Mashinini, said they have not received any information about the DA federal Council, Helen Zille, who was fogmarched by the police at Fernwood Primary School voting station.

Before the incident happened ... It is alleged that, Zille got in the front queue, and the ANC observers accused her of canvassing.

Mashinini confirms that, they can now vote, IEC has contacted them late in the afternoon to come back and vote.

The foreign nationals who own buildings that are behind the ILLOVU taxi rank are now running a business of renting their toilets because there is no public decent toilets in the vicinity of taxi rank.

ILLOVU rank manager, Nkululeko Makhanya, said that because of the unavailability of public toilets in their taxi rank, they end up paying R2 to urinate in one of the flats owned by foreign nationals near their taxi rank.

The eThekwini Municipaliy have put four portable toilets that were meant to be used by ILLOVU taxi drivers and commuters based at Anton Lembede Street. This is one of the taxi rank that does not have public toilet in the Durban CBD.

The eThekwini residents are complaining about the closure of public toilet next to the ICESA College in Anton Lembede Street. Some taxi drivers said because of this issue, they end up urinating outside which causes a smell.

The written opening hours are between: 7:30 to 16:00hrs.
