Breaking News: Tragedy Strikes Chisampama, Siyabuswa - Fatal Gunfire Incident

BABUWI BA LENTSWE (BBL) Is A Gospel Choir Based In Dennilton Elandsdoorn, It Was Formed During 1970's, It Was First Called *ABAHOLI BOMKHUMBI*, It Was A Church Choir (St Paul's Apostolic Faith Mission In SA), It Is Said That It Was The "First" Choir In Dennilton, It Was Formed By The Late Rev M.P Tshabalala And The Late Mme Lindiwe Zalu, Then In The Late 80's M.P Tshabalala's Son ( Andries Zamxolo Tshabalala) Took Over The Choir, *ABAHOLI BOMKHUMBI*, Early In 90's He Took The Choir And Combined It With INHLWATHI CHURCH CHOIR, From MORNING STAR CHURCH Under Archbishop MABENA, And He Changed The Name From ABAHOLI BOMKHUMBI to BABUWI BA LENTSWE, It Is Said That You Were Not Allowed To Join The Choir Unless You Were From The Two Churches, Then Andries Saw That Many People From Other Churches Wanted To Join The Choir But They Couldn't Leave They're Churches, He Then Changed The Choir From Being A *Church Choir* To *Community Choir*, And Babuwi Ba Lentswe Grew In Numbers, They Only Sang Songs From A Small Northern Sotho Hymn Book Called *DIFILA TSA SIONE*, They Believed That This Songs Were A Sermon On It's Own And Prayers. It Went Up Until 2004 When Andries Zamxolo Tshabalala Died, The Choir Also Died, The Spirit Of CLAP & TAP Was No More (Around Dennilton), Small Choirs Mushroomed, Until 2012, When The St Paul's Youth (Those Who Were Born During 90's) Stood Up And Said " But Our Parents Used To Have A Choir And It Was Nice Then, Though We Didn't Understand Anything, But We Saw What They Use To Do, LET US CONTINUE) That Was Lethabo Mahlatsi Motaung, Lehlohonolo Clement, Owami Lyon King, Fanky Radebe And Juliat Nomzamo Vilakazi, And Started A Third Generation Of BABUWI BA LENTSWE, Then Many Joined Them, Including Phawulothando Mshengu Light (A Son To The Late Andries Tshabalala) Who Was Chosen To Be A Conductor (uMphathi), Up To This Date The Choir is Still Standing...
