and I decided to celebrate our actual Anniversary at the new which was recently opened by our mates and in Salt Rock.

For us, coming from Scottburg, it was a long trek, but the quality of the food would see me back there in a heart beat. We started with some delicious chicken livers with Crispy Bruschetta like I've never tasted before and Lisa had a whopping plate of amazing springboks carpaccio served with greens, shaved parmeasan and sour cream dollops.

Mains were a 500g 21 day dry aged sirloin and a 300 gram rump served with a blue cheese and a chimmichuri sauce. Both steaks were cooked to absolute perfection. Both meals were accompanied by potato wedges and sweet potato chips, both way above average and a delicious deconstructed Greek salad. Not sure you're going to taste a better onion ring either.

This was topped off by our delicious vanilla caramel tart, I ate most of it as Lisa is still working really hard on the diet.

We had an amazing time out last night in a really great setting with phenomenal food. Well done guys on creating this amazing ecosystem, next up Donna.

We spent a whole morning getting lost trying to find the infamous fever tree forest within the . This is such a little hidden gem and if not for the huge amounts of rain making it really boggy it would've made an awesome place to get out the car, put down a blanket and indulge in an amazing family picnic lunch.

Can't wait to put these new fog lights from in actual fog. My biggest problem with the Hella lights fitted as standard to the bumper is firstly, in actual fog they cause far to much glare and in normal driving conditions everyone flashes me assuming I have high beams on.
