Nabi: Bad officiating is the reason Chiefs is not top of the league, all the points Chiefs lost is due to bad referees

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has ripped into match officials and implied they have been unfair on Amakhosi for the better part of this season, asking the league to intervene by “analysing their situation”

“I stopped talking about referees. But today [Sunday]... ay ay jah . I urge the PSL to please analyse our situation. Two penalties [denied], and I think my left-back, Cross will be out [for some time]... that foul [by Matuludi] deserved a minimum red card,'' Nabi said.

“It’s unacceptable. If I lose, I lose, no problem, it's football but I don’t like to lose like that. I don’t like to lose because of referees. We could have been at the top of the table you know. I don’t want to be given a gift. I don’t want a gift because I am sporty. I respect the opponents and the referees.''

“It’s not the first time, all the points we lost is due to bad officiating. What do you want? Look at that action involving Cross when you get home. He could be out for two months,'' Nabi angrily said.

“You remember the game where my player, [Edson] Castillo got injured? He was ruled out for six months, and I spoke against referees and the people in the media said I must not be aggressive with the referees, I am not aggressive.

“Tell me what the Fifa rules say. The first rule for the referees is [to] protect the player. How many players are in hospital? I am not talking to protect myself because I lost. No, I am unhappy.”

Mngqithi: I'm not worried that Sundowns have just two points, we will qualify

“All I can tell you is that at home, it’s always going to be difficult for any other opponents that will play against us,” said a defiant Mngqithi.

“One would have loved to have collected six points by now but unfortunately in football, you must accept the outcome. I'm very happy with how my players played and I think at home they will be even better.”

“I don’t think it (the draw) makes our mission very difficult because we played very well and under normal circumstances, a match like this we would win, but we didn’t win. It’s obviously a valuable point away from home and we’re still going to play them at home,” added Mngqithi.

“We’re very confident that we’ll do well. We played against a good team and we knew they would always pose a threat on transitions and set-pieces.”

Molefi Ntseki was sacked just after nine league matches as Kaizer Chiefs head coach, having collected 11 points after three wins, two draws and four losses.

Nasreddine Nabi has managed eight league matches and has collected 11 points, having won three, drew three, and lost two matches.

It is to be noted also, that coach Ntseki did not have the luxury of purchasing players like Gaston Sirino and Inácio Miguel.

If Chiefs loses their next match against TS Galaxy on Monday, should Nabi be sacked, or should fans believe the Tunisian is still cooking?
