What an end of an era! ✨

Hello Gorgeous was on full display at our end of year showcase on Thursday evening.💗
Thank you to everyone who has been apart of this journey for the past three years.
It’s been an amazing journey that ended in a huge success.🤩

I have grown as a person and as a designer and I’ve produced something that I didn’t think would be possible three years ago!

I am one lucky kid because dad flew to CT to help me build my set.💗

From making film canister keychains to transporting 6m length PVC pipes, I wouldn’t have been able to put this together on my own💗
My mom is the inspiration behind Hello Gorgeous and I wouldn’t have been able to do this without the creative sparkle we both share💗
Even though Team Otte was split into two teams for the last two weeks, we still made something spectacular together!💗

Thank you to all my friends and family who came to support, it meant the world to me 💗

Hello Gorgeous isn’t just a uni project for me, with the help of my amazing lecturers at Vega School, it is my own personal brand that has the potential to be anything I want it to be, so I look forward to exploring new creative avenues✨

This book features portraits of my favorite people, along with handwritten notes that highlight what makes each person special.🫶🏻

For this project, I wanted to blend documentary-style photography with a Jane Austen feel. That’s how we ended up with Aimee twirling barefoot in her castle, running away from Prince Charming. 😆

I hope these images transport you to a time when balls and grand dresses were the norm, but there was always that one girl who didn’t quite fit. She would run barefoot through her castle in her ballgown, with her hair undone and a twinkle of adventure in her eye. ✨🫶🏻

These are some of my favorite black-and-white images. I experimented with motion blur, double exposure, close-ups, and embraced a grainy, film-like aesthetic. 🤍📸
