Divergent (aka. Luke Simon Ignjatovic) has been all around the Cape Town scene, having recently played alongside some huge local/international DJs including Neelix, Deliriant, Chris Taylor and many more.

Divergent brings an explosive stage presence along with mind-blowing basslines that will take you to another world! He strives to fill his sets with his own production giving it a unique style and bounce. Growing in the industry, nothing will stop him from reaching his goals.

Stepping out from his trance roots for this gig, Divergent. impressed us with this mix by showing us that he not only is a versatile artist at his young age but in fact he can still put on a great show even in a genre that he rarely gets to play.

We are very excited to be showing you the mix Luke had put together for us to give you guys a taste of what he'll be bringing to the table next Saturday between 22:00 & 23:00 at Club 89 on Long ;)

Divergent has been around the Cape Town events for some time now playing, at a 1 or 2 big events and a couple small indoor ones too, but like all up & comers getting consistent play time is a lot more difficult than it seems, surprising when he has played at the same events that had the likes of Neelix, Deliriant & Chris Taylor, just to name a few. So we thought it would be a prime opportunity to showcase him and put him in the spotlight at our home, Club 89 on Long from 10pm-11pm right before TommyV takes the reigns for his set!

With a knack for trance, he's gone out of his way for our launch event to give you guys a proper deep tech and Brazilian bass set! He strives to feature his own tracks in his set which will give him that unique sound that everyone on the dancefloor is looking for🔥
