We are thrilled about the new 🎾padel courts, coffee shop, and kids' play area. However, we have some questions:

SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS IN THE COMMENTS 👏👌👈

📌 Other padel facilities in Bloemfontein offered a week or two of free play for the public to experience the new facilities. Why didn't Woodlands do the same for its residents?

📌 The cost at Woodlands is just as high as other padel facilities in Bloemfontein, ❌ amounting to over R100 per player per hour, or R400 per hour for a game. Why weren't the rates reduced?

📌It's important to note that Woodlands courts can't be booked through the Playtomic app, yet we still have to pay the same rates. Why is this the case?

🏓We plan to meet with the owner of the padel courts soon to bring you more detailed information regarding these points.

Here is the story:

"We are looking for a house to house-sit in Woodlands! We are visiting family, but our two golden retrievers have to come with us and cannot stay with our family in Woodlands due to other dogs!

Please let us know if there is anyone who would like someone to stay at their house and, for example, water the plants and look after the house from December 14-29.

The dogs are well-behaved, do not sleep on beds or couches, and have their own bedding. We will ensure everything remains 100% as it was.

A beautiful rainbow 🌈 yesterday 😍

In the Bible, a rainbow is a powerful symbol of God’s promise and covenant. Its meaning is first introduced in Genesis 9:12–17 after the great flood, where God makes a covenant with Noah, his descendants, and all living creatures. The rainbow serves as a sign of this promise:

“I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.” (Genesis 9:13–15, NRSV)

1. God’s Faithfulness: The rainbow symbolizes God’s faithfulness to His promises. It assures that He will never again destroy the earth by flood.

2. Covenant of Mercy: It represents God’s mercy and His intention to preserve life despite humanity’s failings.

3. Hope and Restoration: The rainbow serves as a sign of hope and a reminder of God’s love and care for creation.

4. God’s Presence and Glory: In Ezekiel 1:28, the rainbow is associated with the glory of God, appearing in visions of His throne:

“Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.”
