ποΈ In loving memory of Bulelwa Mkutukana, widely known as Zahara. Born on November 9, 1987, in East London, South Africa, and sadly departed on December 11, 2023, in Johannesburg. A talented Afro-soul singer-songwriter, Zahara's music touched our hearts.
π€ Zahara's musical journey, spanning from 2011 to 2023, leaves behind a legacy of platinum albums and chart-topping hits. From the double-platinum debut "Loliwe" to the triple-platinum "Country Girl" and the best-selling "Mgodi," she enriched our lives with her soulful vocals and acoustic guitar melodies.
π Her achievements include 17 South African Music Awards, three Metro FM Awards, and a Nigeria Entertainment Award. Zahara's impact extended globally, earning her a spot on the BBC's 100 Women in 2020. As a guest judge on Idols South Africa in 2021, she shared her wisdom and passion for music.
