The Southern Crunk nation (also known as SCN) is group of like minded music artists, originally made up of artists who's primary genres consisted of Crunkcore, and Rap who were at the time, located in the southern parts of the United States. Since the group's humble beginnings, SCN has recruited members in nearly all regions of the United States, and members located in Canada as well. The group ha
s also branched out from the genres of music which SCN was founded on, and now includes artists in Electronic Pop, Hip-Hop. However, the group still has a strong presence in the world of Crunkcore and according to the Yung Kamo, (the group's founder)
"We are always changing the way we do things and adapting to our current situation. However, the fact is that we always have many members who specialize in Crunkcore, and that's not going to change anytime soon." The Southern Crunk Nation is set to release a collaboration album mid 2015, which will feature tracks from all members of the group, and those same members taking part on other members tracks in the album as well.
