Generation 5 Film & TV

The Generation Five Entertainment Film & TV Team will be managed by Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman of Campbell Grobman Films. Lati Grobman and Christa Campbell are veteran Hollywood film producers. They have proven to be an aggressive force in the filmmaking community. Since teaming up in 2011in a span of just 18 months, Campbell-Grobman Films has already produced seven films for multiple companies across town, including such high profile projects as Texas Chainsaw 3D and Ariel Vromen’s The Iceman. Driven by their passion for film, Christa and Lati enjoy working within a wide spectrum of genres, ranging from horror to romantic comedy, action, and even documentary. Utilizing their combined experiences both behind and in front of the camera, this team ultimately aspires to create movies that can change the world for the better. The video game development and production industry is very lucrative with returns on investment capital in some cases as high as 40 to 1. Generation Five Games will be headed by Producer Logan Mader. The GVE Games team has established relationships with game writers and game publishing and distribution partners. I some case GVE Films & TV may produce a feature film of which GVE game may have purchased the game development right to along with the film rights. Generation Five Music is responsible for signing, developing, producing, recording and touring of musical artist and bands. While producing and recording their music Generation Five Music will create branding of their music and image as well. The GVE Music team has work with such artist as; Tony Bennett, Liza Minnelli, Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross, Michael Bolton, Kenny G, Reba Macintyre, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Janet Jackson, Crosby, Still & Nash, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Winwood, Eric Clapton, BB King, Aerosmith, Stoop Dog, Ozzy Osborne, Deep Purple, Green Day, The Eagles, Elton John, Rod Stuart, The Allman Brothers, and Billy Joel as well as many more

Contrasting the typical scenario in which a record company spends more money producing the music than they do in its marketing and promotion, Generation Five Music will utilize its co-founding partner legendary record producer Logan Mader to ensure the highest quality product within established production budgets and by using the Generation Five Music’s private recording facility. This, in conjunction with the financing and expertise necessary to stage intense, relentless marketing campaigns will assure the impetus necessary to create "winning" products in the marketplace. Generation Five Music preferred signing structure is a Joint Venture partnership with the artist (band) being a 50/50 split on all music sales. Generation Five Entertainment covers all costs including possible modest artist advance, recording costs, tour support if necessary, and merchandise advance if necessary. For this arrangement the band agrees that Generation Five Entertainment participates in other revenue streams such as; sales from merchandise, touring, ringtones, sync licensing, and part of the bands publishing income (all of which to be negotiated on a case by case basis). This model is referred to in the music industry as a “360” model. Each of the musical recordings Generation Five Entertainment produces and owns will create valuable short-term streams of revenue. Owning and controlling the rights to music will afford Generation Five Entertainment continuing revenues and the opportunity to grow its music catalogue into a valuable asset for years to come. The combination of Generation Five Music and Generation Five Publishing will earn revenues through the creation of several lucrative profit centers such as the sale of CD’s, DVD’s, digital downloads, and licensing of Generation Five produced music to movies, television, video games, and other media platforms through Generation Five Publishing. A plethora of options are available to satisfy Generation Five Music for which we will outsource this function to one of many manufacturing outfits in the industry. Generation Five Entertainment has formed a strategic partnership with a leading social media management firm to ensure that each Generation Five Entertainment band will have the best in ongoing strategic online marketing. These management items will include aesthetic blueprinting, marketing tools and platforms with viral media, keyword identification, securing and optimizing all social platform sites with custom graphics including but not limited to Face Book, YouTube, Twitter, and providing up to date analytics so Generation Five Entertainment can see on a daily basis what impact the social media campaign is making in helping ensure the success of each Generation Five Entertainment band. Generation Five Publishing is responsible for Retail product distributions, Publishing & Licensing). Generation Five Publishing could quite possibly become the company's largest revenue source. There are five distinct sources of revenue in terms of the publishing of recorded music: 1. Mechanical royalties: which are the monies paid by a record company for the right to manufacture and distribute CD's containing a song owned by the publisher. The monies paid are what referred to as the statutory rate which currently stands at 9.1 cents per song per unit sold. 2. Synchronization royalties: which are monies earned by publishers for granting the right to use a song in a film or television show. No set rate here, you negotiate for whatever you think the song deserves. 3. Performance royalties: which is the right of a publisher to perform the copyrighted work publicly. We have three performing rights organizations in the states, ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC. Some of the ways these monies are collected for the copyright holders are tracking songs performed on radio and television stations, restaurants, nightclubs, and other venues and broadcasters. 4. Print royalties: which are monies earned from the sale of printed editions of songs. 5. New Media Royalties: sort of a catch-all phrase for the newer technologies that have come into existence over the last few years. Generation Five Publishing will strive to work with each Generation Five Music artist/band in becoming partners in each artist/bands publishing income. Generation Five Publishing has formed a strategic partnership with Los Angeles based RipTide Music, a leader in synchronizing music into TV, film trailers, films, commercials and games. RipTide is a creative, forward thinking Los Angeles based music licensing and publishing company, representing the work of hundreds Indie-bands, artists, singer-songwriters and accomplished composers. RipTide Music also represents historical masters and inspired recordings of cover songs. As part of this strategic partnership RipTide will use its entertainment and commercial industry relationships to find the right music placements and media platforms for Generation Five Entertainment bands. A few RipTide credits include: Trailers and feature films such as: The Amazing Spiderman, The Help, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Mission Impossible “Ghost Protocol”. TV: 90210, Entourage, Mad Men, NCIS. Commercials: GMC, Pillsbury, Burger King, K-Swiss and Video Games: Call Of Duty; Black Ops, WWE Wrestling, MX vs Alive, Guitar Hero 5. Generation Five Publishing intends to strongly market is music publishing catolog through these type media out lets. Merchandising:
A lucrative profit center, merchandising opportunities will be created upon and around company bands and products in concert venues and retail outlets, alike. Concert merchandise (t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, programs, posters, buttons, etc.) is typically sublicensed to a merchandising company specializing in retail operations at large concert venues. Generation Five Entertainment will be able to handle all merchandise requirements in house until at such time a band’s success requires a merchandise company. Once a band becomes successful, retail merchandising strategies will be coordinated and planned with the assistance of advertising agencies and public relations firms. The chief objective will be to create alliances with apparel manufacturers for Generation Five Entertainment artists, similar to the manner in which athletic shoe manufacturers attach an athlete's name or image to a particular shoe. Of course, these opportunities will become more readily available as the bands reputation increases. Nonetheless, Generation Five Entertainment will work to make inroads in this realm early on. The company is preparing to design and release a line of Generation Five Entertainment casual wear, including such items as shirts, hats and jackets. Distribution of these products to music related retail outlets will occur through Generation Five Entertainment’s network of industry associations. Distribution to mainstream apparel outlets will also be secured as the company grows.
