It's been a busy 2 weeks rounding out with last night's amazing Symphony Orchestra concert as part of the Kent Music Summer School. The work load eases now with only 5 projects over the next 2 weeks left to do, and the editing of these videos can now start in earnest!

For those interested, over the last 2 weeks I have filmed 14 events (sometimes 2 locations in a day). This equates to 885gb of video files, or 42 hours, and 33 mins of video filmed across 6 cameras!

Had so much fun working on this video and turning it into a silent film with a soundtrack. It was shot in a little over 30 minutes (including makeup changes), featuring Kyle and Madeline McQueen who are volunteers at Fort Amherst Halloween Horrors, and took about 2 hours to edit including the effects and music.

So delighted to have been asked to work with the amazing guys at Fort Amherst Halloween Horrors on another 3 trailers for this year's event. It was a privilege to work with the Halloween Team, Alvin Burrell of Garret West Productions and Becca Crowhurst in bringing this year's trailers to life.

I had the pleasure of being asked to edit 6 videos for Live Music Now for their 'Round Here project in collaboration with Historic England. I'll be sharing all 6 videos over the next few weeks, but starting off with one from my local area: Chatham.

This was such a fantastic project to be involved with; Live Music Now have been working with local musicians and residents to produce 6 brand new songs celebrating their local areas.

Today marks a return to Kent Music Summer School where I will be filming all of the concerts for the pupils to watch back a couple of days later. Tonight's concert is the first of 11 concerts over the next 3 - 4 weeks.

Had the pleasure of filming another amazing project with Kent Music and Orchestra One; this time celebrating O1's 10th anniversary with a project based around time travel (It was so much fun to do some "cheap-looking" green screen filming replicating the feel of old tv shows).

Really excited to share one of my latest projects I had the pleasure to work on. A group of 28 young musicians who, over 4 days, composed and performed their own music inspired by what it would be like at a music festival.

This was a fantastic project to work with, not just for the standard of work produced by the students but also from a technical perspective; I had 3 takes at each piece (with 4 cameras), but without a click track or a musical structure which was set in stone, combining all 3 takes of each piece of music into one was much more of a challenge than a normal live performance.
