Saif-ur-Rehman Saifi’s poetic brilliance graced the literary world, and his words danced like moonbeams across the pages of more than a dozen books. As a teacher, he not only imparted knowledge but also ignited the flames of creativity in countless souls. His impact transcended ink and paper; it resonated in the hearts of those who had the privilege of learning from him.
Beyond his literary achievements, Mr. Saifi’s character shone brightly. His unwavering commitment to humanity was exemplified by his marriage to a cancer-stricken woman—a union forged not in societal norms but in compassion and love. He stood by her side, defying social pressures, until her last breath. Such selflessness is rare and speaks volumes about his noble spirit. The Govt. of Pakistan bestowed him the highest civil award Pride of performance in early-90s.
Saif-ur-Rehman Saifi will forever be etched in our memories—for his verses that stirred emotions, for the literary treasure he bequeathed, and for the moral compass that guided his life. May Allah grant him eternal peace and reward his soul for the kindness he bestowed upon others.
