Composting is always a good idea for the planet.

Curbside composting will return to NYC beginning fall 2021!

Turn your food scraps, food-soiled paper, and yard waste and into compost or renewable energy.

As this is a voluntary service, residents must sign up through a simple online form or by calling 311 in order to participate. You'll able to sign up starting the first week of August, and service will start in the fall on a rolling basis. To learn more, please visit https://on.nyc.gov/3yrMMAA
