* At 356 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Greensboro, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 357 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in the past three hours. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Buckhorn Branch, Cane Creek, Barker Creek, Benton Branch, Buffalo Creek, Big Toby Creek, Burkes Creek, Birch Creek and Benaja Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to one inch are expected over the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Danville... Eden... Reidsville... Wentworth... Yanceyville... A Nor'easter is looking likely by Sunday into Monday. While a storm is likely, exactly where it forms is still unclear. If it's a coastal track, lots of wind and rain for the beaches but a bit less for us. A more inland track, more wind and rain for us here.

Severe weather threat has diminished for our area still have the cold front that will passing through our area 7-9 with the potential for some thunder and lightning heavy rain . The winds will pick up and blow overnight .. also may see some snow showers mixing in over night 11pm-3am timeframe
