Big Ol' Dang Ol' Announcement #1:
Over the last nearly 6 years I've had the absolute ride of a lifetime hosting Game Nights around the Ozarks, starting at 4 By 4 Brewing Co. and motoring around to several breweries, bars, country clubs, private parties and one birthday bingo for a 90yr. young lady at the Japanese Stroll Garden. It's been one helluva time and I've so many to thank for the support and love over all this time, but transitioning from a career in the fire service to being a full-time grad student is gonna take all the focus I can muster, so Game Nights are gonna take a sabbatical for a while. We have one more BIG Bingo Night planned for Valentine's Day, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, the podcast continues strong.....but that's for announcement #2!

This one is both near to the heart and simultaneously a bit difficult to ask for help with: as those close know I retired early from front line fire service based on PTSD and its side effects. If not for the PEER Support Team, the Union and the support of the department itself, I would not have had the nerve to say “I need help, I don’t think I can do the job the way it needs to be done anymore”.
I feel as though they saved MY life. From being a member supporting others to needing the support myself, I cannot say enough good things about this team.
