I'm Kirstin, but better known as K (it's easier for a lot people -- no worries, I get it)! And I got started with digital planning back in 2018 when it was me and maybe 2-3 other people (that I knew of) even talking about this stuff! 🤯
So how'd I get started? I skipped my chemistry lecture, went to Best Buy, and picked an iPad 6th generation to take notes. And the rest they say is history, right? I wanted my paper planner on my iPad, but not just those ugly automated calendars (sorry Google). I wanted to write and use stickers, choose my own colors, and so on. Pulled an all-nighter to create a hyperlinked PDF that looked... and felt like my paper planner! 📝
Most people found me around 2020 during the height of 😷. With the huge surge of WFH-life and the desire to gain some semblance of control (or respite from everything going on), KDigitalStudio was able to expand and offer even more creative tutorials (the perfect distraction!!) and new planners (to help feel on track)!

Absolutely guilty 😅 Ever since I started taking on more minimal, functional spreads, I've definitely spent less time planning and more time accomplishing my tasks. HOWEVER, it is very fun decorating with fun stickers here and there, especially when all the stickers coordinate. You can shop all our coordinating sticker packs in the shop using the link in my bio!
I am a big fan of adding emojis and memojis to my digital planner -- it's like free built-in stickers 🤩 Not to mention iOS17's sticker feature where you can make your own! Have you used emojis as stickers in your digital planner before? I'm curious 👀
Thoughts on my new tattoo? 😉 I'm always looking for someone new who loves organizing, planning, adding things they've already done just to cross it off the list...? Is that you? 💜

This isn't entirely true 🤪 I do work with an accountant monthly to keep me on track 💪🏼 because wow... taxes are stressful especially serving an international audience. And my husband has been an employee for a year now. 💍 He's a pro with helping me during major launch seasons -- testing planners, catching my design inconsistencies, and more. I've always considered growing my team as it feels more and more difficult to accomplish my long list of to-do's, but something feels really special and connected with just the two of us!

Did you know you can drag and drop from Reminders into your digital planner? You can do the same from Apple Calendar (and vice versa)! A handy little tip 💡 if you find yourself rewriting a ton!

I WFH, so would you believe me when I say I have a "work bag"? 😆 I pack my bag everyday, head upstairs to work, and repack for whatever work I do outside of working hours downstairs. If I work outside of home, it's already packed to go! What do you keep in your bag?

It's easiest to achieve consistent strokes when using a ballpoint pen -- and most note-taking apps have this option! ✍🏼 Unless you're after some nice calligraphy or decor for your notes or planner 😉 Best tip for improving your handwriting (regardless of device) is PRACTICE! Ugh, I know... how boring! But there's fun practice handwriting sheets over at the Freebie Studio. Use the link in my bio to join! Zoooooooom in 👀 when writing on iPad. You'll have more control, more even strokes, and easier time writing on the screen!
