๐ An alternative tour you shouldn't miss in Rio is going through the Santa Teresa neighborhood. Art, music, and great food await you, perfect for those cloudy days (also known as non-beach days ๐)
You can get the tram to go up from the Arcos da Lapa, see some craft shops, murals, this beautiful house called Parque das Ruinas, go down through the streets and pass by the Selaron stairway. Lots of great restaurants all around and suddenly you're in the center, our brazilian Lisbon

โจ Early mornings have their rewards, and today's stunning sunrise over Ortakoy's mosque was worth every second of lost sleep! ๐ Being an early bird is still the ultimate hack to see places in a totally different perspective.
๐ Ascending to Alpe di Siusi with the cable car or "funivia" in Italian, and let me tell you, it's a breathtaking journey!
๐๏ธ This region has funivias scattered all around, offering access to the peaks. ๐ Convenient and incredible way to explore the area. They aren't very cheap, right around 30 euro return trip, but they will save you 3h+ hiking at least in some areas where you can't get much of a view due to very closed forest all the way up.
๐๐ฅฐ Summer is time for some ๐โโ๏ธ swi... Nanana! Time for the mountains !! This is my first time over at the Dolomites in mid-summer! I've always been afraid of the crowds here by this time, but the heat pushed me north, and I gotta say, so far, there's plenty of space for everyone. Well, at least in open fields like Alpe di Siusi! And the flowers are just making it even more magical.
โ๐ฅThe weather has been unpredictable, with clouds, sun, rain, and heat, all on the same day, so gotta hope for good conditions when in the right spot. Also brought my parents for the first time up here, and they couldn't be happier, so that's a win regardless of anything else!

๐๐ Have you ever used hiking apps like Maps.me, WikiLoc or AllTrails? It's impressive how many use them to log their walks and how many cool trails and destinations you can find by checking the colaboration of who's been there before.
Alpe di Siusi is one of these spots, where you better choose where to walk, because it can be endless! But absolutely gorgeous everywhere :D
๐ I guess Suleiman, the Magnificent, had quite a vision. Suleymaniye Mosque is already unbelievable during normal hours, but at dawn, it's just unbelievable. Really, waking up early is the ultimate simple hack to totally change your experience at a new spot.

๐ Alpe di Siusi or Seiser Alm is this beautiful high ground, in the middle of the western Dolomites. To get up there you can grab a cable car, or you can drive, but only on certain times of the day. Once up there you gotta park and enjoy all the hiking trails around. The area is massive, and we explored as much as we could, but it's definitely a whole day, or days, adventure.
We got a lodge in the area, but there are countless small villages and cities all around that you can pick as a base. I'd totally recommend somewhere around Ortisei, since many of the attractions are reachable from there.

๐ฎ๐น๐งโ๐จ One of the most famous postcards of Italy was missing in my collection. So some weeks ago we hopped on a train to go check it out
I expected to feel nothing, I hate ultra touristy places. But it was surprisingly cool. Bologna also got a leaning tower, but the one in Pisa is scarily big and ready to tumble down ๐
For the photographers out there: go early. Really early. ๐ง Scary amounts of souvenir sellers and people later on.

๐๐ฒโ๏ธ๐ One of the spots I was looking forward the most to seeing live: Federa lake was a morning of adventure, that started by watching the sunrise at Passo Giau and then with a gorgeous trail till the lake. There is a video on the channel showing how it all went down.
And well, finished with cappuccino and pie by the lake because how else should it be!

๐ The Piazza del Campo is one of the most beautiful squares in Italy for me. Surrounded by all these beautiful buildings, the pavement is actually on an angle which makes it perfect to sit and watch time go by without any rush
