This week I feature the top songs by Australian artists from the year 1968, which was the year when Australia's first heart transplant operation was performed at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. A 57 year old man received a heart donated by a 29 year old who died on natural causes the same day of the operation. A seven member team operated for 9 hours.
