Indigo turns green.
At the last Texprocess the Trendease Team visited the Denim Future Lab and was inspired by some of the sustainable actions that were being taken.
Denim is gaining popularity again, moving from a classic to a trendy design category. The industry, aware of the huge negative ecological impact the manufacturing of denim has on the environment, is taking action. At Texprocess we learned about alternatives such as nitrogen, foaming and spray dyeing, ozone fading to replace bleaching, and laser wash finishing, among others.
In three weeks we'll be at the opening day of Texprocess, as well as Techtextil and we look forward to scouring the floor for fresh innovations and inspiration.
