Our Story

James Snapko, an award-winning and nationally recognized film director, writer, producer, and educator, founded Collision Pictures in 2003. Snapko has made more than 20 films that have played at film festivals all over the world, including the Cannes Film Festival in 2011. He also creates television commercials and teaches film studies and film production at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Collision Pictures has collaborated with talented actors, musicians, and producers such as: French filmmaker Jérémy Strohm; actors EJ Subkoviak, Lee H. Adams, Sara Richardson, Steve Lattery, Adam Fielitz, Eric Webster, Sam Landman, Ryan Wotherspoon, Joshua English Scrimshaw and other artists and producers like Chris Kachian, Jake Perron, James Koth, and Trista Snapko.
