While recording or photographing a tornado is the most important objective for most chasers, The StormTrax Team is more focused on the safety of Siouxland and surrounding areas. StormTrax evolved from a large group called Siouxland Severe Weather Network in which the primary goals are early warnings and a constant information feed of threatening weather events (when and where it is occuring). St

ormTrax will be streaming live feeds on Severe Studios during severe weather season providing ground-truth information to the National Weather Service which is an essential element in early warnings of violent weather. Storm Trax is a certified Skywarn Chase Team and its core values are built on the NWS Skywarn and WRN objectives.
