Here is todays improvised speech for the Toastmasters meeting! I have difficulty in being humorous when I talk publicly and I’m working on it! As the stages grow I want to be dynamic in my delivery. The word of the day “Languid” meaning slow and relaxed.

This one was alot of fun. I just talked about a lady I met years ago at the state fair and she was beautiful. I waited until she left and worked hard to try and find her. I failed , but it was one of those young man things you do. The story helped me relax and have a little fun up there!

Thanks to @toastmastersinternational I get the opportunity to speak again. Years ago, I loved to speak, but didn’t feel I had enough life experience to be authentic, but now, things have changed.
Here, I did a table topic which is a totally improvised topic that that the table topic master gets to choose. They then pick someone out of the group to come up and speak. This topic was about Memorial Day and how we celebrate it. You also have to use the word of the day which is “vitality ” meaning strong and active. For the topic, I pointed to the historical aspects of it and all the brave soldiers of color who fought for the opportunity for me to have this amazing life.
One of my greatest desires is to put on large motivational events featuring community people as the speakers to raise money for local businesses and non profits. I’ll have to start off by putting on smaller events, but I’m sure will get there.
