The Debut EP “ BACKTRACK “ has landed, thank you to everyone involved in this project. It’s been a challenge for sure but we couldn’t be happier. A brand-new exhibition is coming soon to the in Liverpool. ‘Epiphone 150th Anniversary: Featuring the Guitars of Noel Gallagher’ will chart the history of the iconic Epiphone brand through the guitars of one of its most loyal artists, Noel Gallagher. The exhibition will run from 27 September 2023 to 14 January 2024, and will feature several guitars from Noel’s own private collection.

🎟️ The British Music Experience will be hosting an exclusive launch event for this exhibition on the evening of Wednesday 27 September, and there’s 150 free tickets up for grabs! 🎟️

Ticket holders will be the first to see the exhibition and the event will feature live acoustic sets from Epiphone artist Ruby J and Warrington’s finest, The K’s. Tickets are first come first served and can be booked online now via britishmusicexperience.com or the link in our bio.

PST featuring fan favorites “Bullfight”, H.G Wells, Turning Point, as well as “All About you” which appeared of amazing Big in 2023 triple vinyl. P.S.T produced , & mastered by its jam packed with with loads of songs and sonic goodness with waves of psychedelic Sunshine washing in on its shores. PST harkens back to the band’s obvious love of 60’s psych garage pop, with lyrics that poetically tell tales of growing up around the beaches of So Cal and experiences of living in Los Angeles. WOW! the maestro has ascended. What the “world needed” in 1969’s was “LOVE sweet LOVE” ♥️ and master gifted songwriter Mr Burt Bacharach gave it to us in his music and many of the greatest songs ever written and put to tape. In the 60’s he had countless hits on both sides of the Atlantic and helped to launch the careers of Dusty Springfield, Cilla Black, Dionne Warwick and loads more, “There’s always Something there to remind” us so we “say a little prayer for you” and your journey up to heaven or wherever you are headed next Burt 🙌 it’ll be you and Lennon side by side at the Piano 🎹🎼 w Hal writing lyrics 😉 cheers for the music. What a run and life lived eh! ♥️

NEW VIDEO 🎥 - “There’s Nobody There” we wind down Velvet Starlings debut album “Technicolour Shakedown” with a final single, before we head into Summer and Pacific Standard Time” ☀️🌊

There’s Nobody There” is
basically, the flip side of the bands previous up-tempo whimsically fuzzy single “Technicolor Shakedown”. The band were going for a darker psychedelic groove and track, anchored by a Harrison-esque or Byrds style twelve string guitar riff. The song + video
chronicles the isolation and loss of connection between people “waves of silence just drown out the sound” The eerie ghostly vocal echo effects create an atmosphere, along with desperate feeling of emptiness lyrically there’s an obvious lament for the many fun fuelled nights spent together and taken for granted, that they all seemed lost forever. It was time and a place. Glad we are all getting back to the live show, fun and summer is around the bend.

Thanks to 🎥 and everyone has been a part of this album and it’s release.
