Kim Nam-gil won the SBS Acting Award once again.
Kim Nam-gil became the grand prize protagonist at the '2022 SBS Acting Awards', which was broadcast live from 8:35 pm at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 31st.
On his speech, Kim Nam-gil said, "I don't know if I deserve this kind of award in front of Senior Heo Joon-ho."
"Actually, our drama aired at the beginning of the year, so I didn't expect it. And as Nam Gung-min said, when I saw the result, I hesitated a lot because the material was difficult and lacked popularity," he said, adding, "I thank all those who have loved those who have read evil hearts to the end without forgetting them."
And Kim Nam-gil said, "There were many people who appreciated this drama," and mentioned the names of those who were grateful one by one.
He said, "As the director said, I approached the work with the idea of thinking only about the victims and their families. I'd like to thank the crew for giving me the essential concern."
"I want to be here and talk to these people. There were actors who played heinous criminals, so our drama could be completed. Playing a heinous criminal is the result of not thinking about image things, but only the name of the actor. They acted without hesitation and gave their best performances. Watching their performances, I thought that there are a lot of really good actors in my country, and that acting should be humble."
He also expressed his sincere admiration for Professor Kwon Il-yong, who became the motif of the work, and Inspector Yoon Oe-chul, who helped create the Crime Scene Investigation Team.
Finally, Kim Nam-gil drew attention by saying, "I dedicate this award to the police officers who are working day and night for our lives and safety, and to the profilers who are still struggling all over the country to read the heart of evil."
What a wonderful speech! It's not all about him but giving credit to those actors who worked hard especially those who played the heinous criminals and the staff and crew as well as Profiler Kwon Il-yong who was the inspiration to this masterpiece. Kudos to all of you. 👏
