Putting together the tools and gathering the notes I've culled together over the last couple of years, it feels like it's time to get back to work and write the conclusion to my "exhaustive trilogy." What started with "A Eudaimonian Faith" and carried through "Jesus Went" will end with a demonstration that a Trinitarian understanding of God is the only way to understand the Bible *tota scriptura*. While many dismiss the Bible's presentation of the Godhead as "One God, Three Persons," as a later Hellenistic corruption of the text and others push it away under the label of "mystery," I believe Trinitarianism is not only fully defensible, fully understandable, and fully demonstrable through all of scripture, but Trinitarian doctrine is fully necessary in order to understand the very God whom the Bible was ordained to show us. Just as Paul warned the Corinthians of the dangers of following a Jesus other than the one he preached (2 Cor 11), contemporary Christians must be warned of the dangers of following a God other than the one declared in the Bible. In a normal series of events, parents live their lives, explore their possibilities, find their mates, and build their futures until the time to become parents arrives. Then, that which is supportive to child raising is retained and that which is not its sacrificed, by the parents and out of love, in the short term. With abortion, the children are sacrificed to allow the parents more time to live their lives, explore their possibilities, find their mates, and build their futures. One is natural and sustainable. The other is selfish and unsustainable.

What is happening in Afghanistan right now is an unbelievable, avoidable tragedy. An entire generation of Afghan women is about to experience a 200-year cultural devolution in a manner of days and every living Afghan who submitted his or her life to Christ since 2001 will either be with the Lord soon or is facing the kind of oppression that will lead them to pray their faith will hold when the knives, zealots, and r**e gangs show up. The West and Islamofascism cannot occupy the same world. One must go. The Lord will judge what we do now.

Atheists claim there is no evidence for God, but this is incorrect. There is ample evidence for His existence. Creation itself is evidence of His existence as something doesn't come from nothing. Christ's birth, life, death, and resurrection are the most well-attested events in antiquity. Paul's conversion and the Apostles' zeal for spreading the gospel after Pentecost is also evidence. Christianity's place as the majority religion in the majority of the world is evidence as Isaiah 9 prophesied there would be no end to His peace. There is a ridiculous amount of evidence for God's existence.
There just isn't evidence an atheist will accept.

When men create a religion, they give it works so that they might be honored for their advancement within that religious system. That is why men work constantly to slip salvation through works into Christianity, despite its rejection in the gospel. It's too late. There's nothing you can add to Christ's work. The only things you can add at this point are reasons you must be forgiven or reasons why Christ never knew you (Matt. 7-21-23). If seeking glory for yourself is the goal of your Christian faith, you've merely taken your ugly sin and have given it a pretty name.

"For I am the Lord who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy." - Leviticus 11:45

How can we be "holy" as God is "holy?" In short, we can't and that is not the standard we must achieve. But we can emulate the qualities He has commanded us to emulate. We can be faithful as He has been faithful. We can be loving like He has been loving. We can be patient like He has been patient with us. The word in Leviticus 11:45 translated as "holy" is qadosh (kaw-doshe). What it means is "holy," but what it implies is not to be sinless or perfect. Rather, it implies, when used to describe humans, we are to conduct ourselves in such a way as to be identifiable by that which makes God, angels, saints, and sanctuaries unique from everything else in creation. Whatever that is, be that. For the True and Living God has commanded it.
