Well, my next colored pencil expressions meeting has a theme of Machine or Tool. Well, I just finished one that falls under the machine category. I am happy with how it turned out and hope you can enjoy it.

My son gave me Spawn Dark Redemption ( The one with the large dark wings) for Father's Day. He also gave me Scarecrow (the one standing in front of Aquaman) from the DC Batman series. Love it.

This month's Patreon Monthly Project is Xmen 97 in the style of the Disney Xmen series. It is like the older-style comic. I chose to do a group. I did it on my Galaxy tablet with Clip Studio Paint. I am happy with how it turned out and enjoyed doing it. I hope you enjoy it as well.

Marcia loved my dragon drawing so much that we had a couple of t-shirts made up with it on. Here she is with the purple shirt and has one in teal. We both love the way they turned out! Fun, fun, fun!

My Patreon group is doing "Furiosa" from the Mad Max movie series. I am doing the version of her from the first Furiosa movie. I did it on my tablet with Clip Studio Paint. I hope you enjoy it. I had a great time doing it.

My new Custom T-shirt. Marcia got it for me for Father's Day. She asked what I got in the mail, and I told her it was a gift from she didn't know she got me for Father's Day and I thanked her. She said, "Okay, You're welcome."

Well after 4 or 5 days of working on this piece of art when I had free time, I finally completed it. It's a"Baby Dragon with a Mystical Egg of a Future Sibling" done in Prismacolor Premier colored pencils. I used references from the web to give me the idea. I did it for my upcoming meeting with the Colored Pencil Expressions group that meets on the first Thursday of each month. Even though it took me a bit of time to complete this, I really enjoyed creating it. The theme is Fantasy or Fanciful. I chose fantasy. I wanted it to be fun and colorful. I think I did that. I hope you enjoy it!

Attended the Prairieland Water Media Society today. We worked on our own projects. Marcia and I have a bunch of these "create art watercolor kits" and I chose the Leopard one. I drew the sketch freehand from the template the kit had and then painted it sort of like their guide. I went a little with what I thought. I still have a bunch to go since I didn't have time to finish it. I like how it is coming along!

I was working on my car for most of the day today. Got some of it done but I still need to swap out some more parts. So I decided to take a break from that and take some flower photos. Our Irises are really starting to bloom! The Alliums are almost at an end but some still look nice. Here are some pictures! I used a white poster board on some of them. The wind wasn't cooperating but I got a few shots.

Did a pencil sketch of a pair of Finches. Did it in mechanical pencil. Had fun doing it and liked how it turned out. Hope you get some enjoyment!

My wife Marcia has been liking elephants lately and my colored pencil group will do the theme of 'Circus" for our next meeting. So for practice, I did an elephant study sketch to get into the swing for a circus drawing. Also so Marcia could enjoy it as well. I did it with mechanical pencils entirely. Had fun. Hope you enjoy it!

Had a great time at the watercolor expressions group meeting this week! I got to show a video by the artist Aaron Blaise on water-coloring a cougar. To save time I printed a line art drawing I did of a cougar from the course video and the group used them to paint on. It was a ton of fun and everyone seemed to have a great time. I am looking forward to the next meeting and seeing all my new friends again!

The next colored pencil expression group I will attend on the first of next month has the theme of "Flowers". I need a lot of work on flowers. I have definitely gone out of my comfort zone on this one.
So I thought, "I could make it another creative piece with flowers in it. So here it is. My version of flowers. I am happy with how it turned out. I have to work on flowers more. Not my strong suit but I had a lot of fun doing it just the same! Hope you like the "Flower Fairy."

I had a good day viewing the eclipse and having a shingles shot on the same day. The best way to finish such a day was to complete a new pencil sketch drawing of one of my favorite superheroes Captain America. I like how this one turned out. I had a great time doing him. Hope you enjoy it as well.

Just finished an art project for the Patreon Group that I follow. Patrick wants us to create some monster or mythical creature. So I decided to create a Snake Head Cobra Monster. I like how it turned out. Pulled this rabbit out of my hat. I had a lot of fun doing it. Hope you get a kick out of it as well!

Well, I finished my first real art after getting carpel tunnel surgery on my drawing hand. I felt the "Itch" and wanted to create art. So, it is close to Easter and I thought I would do a combo of Alchohol markers and colored pencil drawing. I call it "The King of the Easter Bunnies!" I like how it turned out. I watched some videos using both media types and thought - why not! The colors look rich after I finished. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

Just cause I was getting the art ich and my hand was not 100%, I thought I would take an old alcohol ink drawing of spawn and jazz it up with some colored pencils. I knew I did not have to be super accurate because it was drawn and colored - just what I needed for my hand situation. So here it is - bright and LOUD! Just some relief. One is before and one is after.

Just finished this pencil sketch "Dark Knight Spawn" I drew it from one of my action figures as a reference. I like how it turned out. I wanted to make him a dark character since he is a Dark Knight. Hope you enjoy him! Done with mechanical pencils and Faber Castiel Pitt Matt pencils.

Since I have been collecting Spawn action figures, I have come to like the Gunslinger Spawn as one of my favorite characters. So I did a graphite drawing of the character. I like how it turned out. I used both mechanical pencils and Faber Castell Pitt Graphite Matt. They go up to 14b and that is dark! I hope you get enjoyment from this piece.

Over December, the Winter Wonderland Art event is happening at the Art Korner in German Town Hills. I will have a piece of art on display. "Up on a Rooftop" will be displayed. It is the Pencil and Charcoal art of Santa getting ready to go down a chimney, Lots of other artists will have beautiful works displayed as well. Why don't you pop over and take a look? Here are some wildlife and eagle photos from a pond not that far from my house. It was on the road to Edwards. Some mature and juvenile birds. The pond restricted me from getting any closer. Enjoy!
