The wait is finally over! Here's your first glance at the 992.2 911 featuring the Porsche's new T-Hybrid powertrain with the new GTS models 🔥⚡️!

The only new 911 model to not get the electric boost is the base 992.2 Carrera, now featuring the intercooler from the Turbo S and new turbos from the outgoing GTS, resulting a power bump of 6hp over the predecessor.

The 3.0L twin-turbo flat-6 now offers:

➡️ 394hp and 450Nm
➡️ 294km/h top-speed.
➡️ 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds
➡️ 8-speed PDK transmission

But the major power upgrade by Porsche is given to the new 992.2 GTS models. They now houses a 3.6 later flat-six combined with:

⚡️ An electric turbocharger producing 15hp.

⚡️ A permanent magnet synchronous motor into the new 8-speed PDK. Which provides additional 54hp and 150Nm of peak torque over the 485hp and 570Nm torque produced by the combustion engine.

This result in a total power output of:

🔥 541hp and 610Nm
🔥 321km/h top-speed
🔥 0-100km/h in less than 3 seconds

Even with the additional weight of the hybrid system, it only weighs 50kgs more than the outgoing model.

Porsche has concluded their extensive testing of over 5 million kilometers of their first-ever 911 hybrid!

Not only that, Porsche did a lap with a mule of the 911 hybrid fitted with the aero kit around the Nurburgring, and achieved a time of 7:16.934 minutes, which is 8.7 seconds faster than it ICE powered predecessor.

Porsche also finalised the debut date of the 992 Gen 911 hybrid, which is May 28 of this year.

And as far as we know, it will be showcased with:

➡️ Updated looks inside and out.
➡️ A new Flat-6 hybrid powertrain.
➡️ 48V starter generator.
➡️ 400V energy reserve system.

It's always a moment of joy when a new manufacturer or car enters in the evolving market of the United Arab Emirates.

Omoda is one such brand, entering with its first offering called the C5.

Omoda is a part of a well known Chinese manufacturer Chery which also has a strong foot in UAE. Omoda alongside Jaecoo, which is another sub-band of Chery's portfolio, target and attract markets outside China.

Speaking of the C5, it is an SUV of premium category, designed in a way to target the new age buyers globally and now also in UAE.

Powering the C5 is a:

➡️ 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine

➡️ 147hp and 210Nm

➡️ CVT automatic

➡️ 0-100 in 9.9 seconds

➡️ Mileage is 14kmpl

The wait is over folks, here's the all-electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class which isn't called as the EQG but the G580⚡️.

Mercedes hasn't given any new design cues to the G 580's iconic silhouette apart from some minor cosmetic upgrades like:

🤩 An illuminated front covering that mimics the grill of the ICE G-Calss.

🤩 Fresh alloy wheel designs.

🤩 As it is all-electric you can have it with a cover that stores the charging cable instead of the spare wheel at the back.

Now comes the major part, the powertrain of the G 580, it gets:

🔋116kWh battery powering four individual motors on each axel.

🔋432kW or 579hp and 1,164Nm (+2hp and +314Nm than the AMG G63).

🔋473km of range on a single charge.

🔋0-100km/h in 4.7 seconds.

Mercedes-Benz has also integrated 'G-Turn' and 'G-Steering', which help the Electric G do 360-degree turns to help it get unstuck from sand or mud, and Mercedes-Benz hasl also installed other mechanically advanced bits like these to make it off-road ready similar to its ICE counterpart/sibling.

Porsche welcomes the 2024 Cayenne GTS packs the retuned:

🔥 4.0-lter twin-turbo V8
🔥 500hp and 660Nm (+40hp and +40Nm from the outgoing version).
🔥 8-speed PDK transmission

🔥 Ges 10mm lower ride height compared to standard Cayenne.

It is offered with the sport design package in black as standard with extended wheel arches, to enhance its sporty quotient.

The standard Cayenne weighs approximately 2.1 tonnes but with Cayenne GTS Porsche offers a lightweight package, which further shaves up to 25kgs over the standard car.

🔌 New exterior look with chrome applications on the radiator grill similar to the ICE Mercedes-Benz cars.

🔌 Upright Mercedes star on the front hood.

🔌 Larger 118kWh battery pack.

🔌 Enhanced battery pack for the EQS 450 4Matic, which means:
- 11% or 82km extention in terms of range.
- The EQS 450 gets 799km of range and the 450+ will get 822km of range on a single charge.

The Renault Captur has became more tech-savvy and fuel efficiaent!

Speaking of tech, the 2025 Renault Captur includes OpenR Link multimedia system by Google, which features latest Android Auto 12 integrated into a new 10.4" touchscreen infotainment system.

Apart from the OpenR Link integration, Renault has fitted other safety driving aids including the Active Drive Assist to the 2025 Captur.

Beside a 91hp 1.0L turbo-petrol , the 2025 Captur, Renault will also pack a 1.6L turbo-petrol featuring 2 electric motors with an combined output of 147hp and 205Nm of peak torque, for descent power without compromising on the efficiency.

Renault says, that the 2025 Captur will be tailored differently according on different markets.

Porsche Drive Rental is now available in Dubai!

It was first started in 2014 in Germany, but now covers over 60 locations across Europe, North America, Japan and Australia, and now for the first time they have arrived in the Middle East.

In this program, you can rent cars like the 718 Style Edition twins, 911 coupes and convertibles, and the Taycan 4S.

Customers can choose and book their ride from Porsche's official online booking portal.

For collecting and returning their desired Porsche model, customers can visit the Porsche Centre Dubai or DRVN by Porsche Cafe on the Bluewaters Island, or receive a complete handover from a Porsche-trained technician at their hotel, home or office.

This is what sets Porsche Drive Rental program apart from any ordinary car rental service in Dubai because Porsche Drive Rental optimises sophistication and exclusivity at another level.
