- A collection inspired by the ancient cultures of Mesoamerica, who were famous for their jewellery art, often made from gold and sharing a similar silhouette in the form of an inverted crescent moon
- Framing the illuminated golden arc are two pieces of textured glass which refract the light creating a number of spectacular reflections
- The two thin wires suspending the pendant are brought together with a cylindrical element. Two wires make it possible to adjust the angle of the fixture to find the best possible position when mounted

Rainbow Lighting 🌈

- Each glass tube has nine slots cut into it where coloured filters can be inserted to create a stained glass effect
- The filters are made from waste coloured glass previously used by stained glass artists
- At the base of the lamp a white lacquered steel tube housing a lightbulb that casts a soft upward glow

- Each light includes additional colour light filters to adapt the object to various environments

- Limited edition designs, only 10 pieces made
- Some of the lanterns seemingly swallow parts of themselves with a smaller lantern inside to create a multilayered effect
- Instead of washi paper which is most often used to cover Kyoto lanterns, Hyouri uses translucent silk lining instead to leverage it's characteristics
