The boys are back to dissect what went wrong with their BSBGGB (Bad Slant Big Game Group Bet). Once the guys are done playing the blame game, they take solace in the fact that DC might have a hit on their hands after seeing the new trailer for The Flash movie. Unfortunately, they can’t all be winners, as evidenced by the Fast X trailer that premiered this week. Mercilessly, the boys close the show by going back to their wheelhouse: ill timed snacks. It only took five weeks but we finally have the first show of 2023 with all three hosts under one roof. AJ takes the opportunity to expound on the worst car buying experience in his lifetime. The boys recover and discuss LeBron James becoming the NBA's all time leading scorer and his rightful place in the pantheon of great players. Ice bamboozles AJ and JJ into making a bad bet for the Big Game. Eventually, they wrap things up with the cultural phenomenon that is HBO's The Last of Us. If you can find any Taco Bell wings, grab an order, slam a beer b**g, and have yourself a listen.

Ep 224 - Billy Lives Forever
After a very long hiatus, the boys return and dedicate the bulk of the show to remember their beloved Sopha "Billy" Sar and the impact he had on their lives and the lives of countless others. After a proper send off, the boys recap a tumultuous first month of 2023, filled with highs, lows, and lots of bad TV. Tough as it is, it's great to be back. LONG LIVE BILLY.

Ep 222 - The Car Drives Itself
It’s a tradition unlike any other: It’s another Iceless holiday episode. As per usual, the boys are equal to the task. The BS brothers dance around the news of the Chief Twit stepping down as Twitter’s CEO and how that may inevitably play out. Elsewhere, AJ & JJ begrudgingly pivot to the topic of the upcoming holiday show and the inevitable anxiety and chaos that‘s to come. The guys close the show with recaps of the world's largest sporting event (the World Cup) alongside one of the lamest sporting events (i.e. a primetime Washington Commanders game). Technical difficulties be damned, things proceed as they should. Grab a holiday libation and enjoy, ya filthy animals.

Ep 221 - A.I. Ice
After all the yoga excitement last week, the guys decide to take it easy and stay firmly in their comfort zones. The Iceman shares his experience w/ more cutting edge tech. This time, instead of autopilot, it’s a dalliance with the AI “art” phenomenon sweeping the country. Later, the guys do some hard hitting analysis on movie trailers and why they might actually do more harm than good. There’s also an unusual amount of time spent on the de-aging of Harrison Ford, as well as the curious case of Optimus Prime’s mouth. The movie blitz continues with a discussion about the on-going upheaval within the DCU. But as always, somehow everything comes back to James Bond. This episode requires no artificial intelligence to fully enjoy.

At the top of that list is Tesla's new and improved Auto Pilot system but strangely enough, the early reviews indicate the features might need some polishing. Elsewhere, the Chairman shares his experiences with Rocket Yoga whilst waxing poetic about a future visit to see his beloved Washington Football Team LIVE and in all its glory (bad juju be damned). There was plenty more meat on this bone, but the yoga talk leaves the guys plenty zapped so better to just grab some dark meat chicken, refuel, and enjoy this week's hijinks.

The Iceman is back, and he gives a play-by-play of his trip to the Big Apple. The boys try Popeyes’ latest offering to the chicken sandwich game and surprise, it was actually warm this time. The guys discuss the fast approaching Thanksgiving holiday and explain why this year's dinner may be more expensive. The boys also take some time to breakdown the Washington Commanders’ upset win over the previously unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles. Finally, the guys get around to recapping the first season of ‘House of the Dragon’ while looking ahead at what may be in store for season 2.

On the All Hallows Eve episode the BS crew discuss their Halloween plans and why there are so many school holidays. The boys completely skip Oktoberfest beers and dive deep into the pumpkin beers that have been out since the middle of July. The boys recap a romp around the town and their lovely evening filled with the taste of the high life. It's a Korean Beer extravaganza, as the Iceman does yeoman's work to find a bevy of "Korean" libations to share with the crew. Obviously, they can't all be winners but a few offerings manage to avoid the dreaded dump bucket and steal the show. The boys pivot from heavy boozing to big balling as they delve into the new Redeem Team basketball documentary currently airing on Netflix, which apparently devolved into a pseudo Kobe Bryant love fest. It's quite a scene so grab a glass of your favorite Korean lager, fry up some Kogi, and have yourself a listen.

After last week’s discussion, the boys jump at the chance to try Shake Shack's collab sandwiches with Hot Ones. Once the heat subsides, the guys recap their latest weekend get together, this one featuring a cast of characters that left much to be desired. Along the way, JJ rises from the ashes of his failed parlays to sn**ch the PK title from a reluctant AJ. Nerd talk rounds out the show as the boys dive into the big news concerning Deadpool 3, Blade, and Star Trek 4. Hell, there’s even a few minutes devoted to the Karate Kid cinematic universe. It was another AJ-less episode and The New Moderator and Iceman were there to ensure he was not missed. The New Dynamic Duo recapped the latest Apple Event but it somehow dovetailed into really deep topics that neither were prepared for. They somehow pivoted out of these touchy subjects and dove deep into what was wrong with the DCEU and if there is any hope to salvage it. A quick trip into the latest House of Dragon news, and the boys rejoiced with Whiskey Jack finally catching up on all of the She-Hulk episodes. Grab whatever will quench your thirst and enjoy these two talking about nothing for 2+ hours.
