So, a friend of mine just tried to post this garbage meme that pushes the lie about democrats becoming Republicans. I just had to give my 2 cents and label it FALSE and here is why...
The democrats have always been, and always will be, the plantation owners!
On the very bottom of the meme, it says that LBJ "solidified the switch" because now the democrats were fighting for civil rights after fighting against freeing the slaves. Well, if this is true, why is it that LBJ called blacks NIGRAS and NEGRAS depending on where they were from? Why did his civil rights ideas come from meetings with men like Mississippi Democrat James Eastland, who spent his life fighting FOR WHITE SUPREMACY? Why did they call the civil rights bill the N*gger Bill? Why did Georgia democrat and white supremacist Herman Talmadge say after his party passed the civil rights act, that THEY SHALL OVERCOME? Why is it that for two decades, LBJ was part of the Southern Bloc, trying to block republican attempts at civil rights? When Johnson nominated the first African American to the Supreme Court, he did so saying that he wanted everyone to know that when I appoint a N*gger to the bench, I want everyone to know he is a N*gger.
The policies of the left were built by the men who designed white supremacy and they packaged up the destruction of their communities and sold it to them. Malcolm X warned the people about the motives of the racist democrats, all of a sudden, trying to be their friends. Then there was a moment when Johnson asked Robert Parker, his chauffer, whether he'd prefer to be referred to by his name rather than "boy," "n*gger" or "chief." When Parker said he would, Johnson grew angry and said, "As long as you are black, and you’re gonna be black till the day you die, no one’s gonna call you by your goddamn name. So no matter what you are called, n*gger, you just let it roll off your back like water, and you’ll make it. Just pretend you’re a goddamn piece of furniture." The democrats were never FOR blacks, they wanted to control the blacks just like they did on the plantations. This is how they did it.
In conservative quarters, Johnson's racism -- and the racist show he would put on for Southern segregationists -- is presented as proof of the Democratic conspiracy to somehow trap black voters with, to use Mitt Romney's terminology, "gifts" handed out through the social safety net. But if government assistance were all it took to earn the permanent loyalty of generations of voters then old white people on Medicare would be staunch Democrats.
Why did these tactics of handouts work for buying black votes? The democrats knew that blacks had spent their lives relying on the plantation owners to take care of their needs, so when they gave them freedoms, the plantation owners would still control them by keeping them reliant on the government they control to be the new support structure for their needs.
Does this make sense or do i need to make a meme for DUMMIES? Democrats are just as uneducated as the people whose votes the white supremacists bought with the civil rights act! You see, they figured out that they were not going to win an election, so they decided to put up a bill that would buy loyalty to the party for the next 60 years and still have the control over them that they had on the plantations. In 60 years, what have those racists actually done for blacks and Hispanics? Let's see, kill their babies to keep their numbers down, release criminals into their neighborhoods so they kill each other, subsidize the dismantling of the family structure resulting in mass incarceration, load their communities up with drugs, unprecedented amounts of homelessness in Democrat run cities, dumb down their schools so they don't learn about the true history behind their political influence over them, incentivising them to stay poor, pushing gay and trans agendas to them to prevent them from reproducing, using local law enforcement to incarcerated the men to keep the cycle going, and oh ya, use the media to repeat the lie that the Republicans are the white supremacists and promote the lies with DUMMY MEMES. And just like on the plantations, they always put one of them in charge to keep the others in line. Sometimes they even let them live in the "WHITE HOUSE".
SHARE THIS TO ANYONE WHO THINKS THERE WAS A BIG SWITCH THAT TOOK PLACE AND ASK THEM HOW ALL THOSE WHITE SUPREMACIST K*K DEMOCRATS ALL OF A SUDDEN DIDNT CARE ABOUT THE SUPREMACY OF THEIR RACE ANYMORE. The only thing on that meme that was true was the fact that it was for DUMMIES.
